Waste and emissions management
At the Asturboards factory we have a system in place to prevent the release of harmful materials and waste into the environment.civos al exterior.
Our paint room features a forced ventilation system that continuously renews the air inside to reduce the concentration of gases and suspended particles. Before the air is expelled into the atmosphere, it passes through a filtration system that reduces environmental impact by retaining suspended paint particles, preventing them from polluting our surroundings.
In addition, the people working inside the room wear the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) so that, even though the air is being continuously treated, they remain properly protected.

Our sanding room has a forced ventilation system combining extraction fans and a filter box specifically designed for this purpose. This system generates an airflow that passes through the area where the board is positioned while it is being sanded.
In this way, the suspended particles released during the sanding process, instead of forming a dust cloud in front of the sander, follow the direction of the airflow and are retained in the filter box — allowing the air to be expelled outside while the particles are not.
This gives us a safer working environment thanks to cleaner air, achieving better visibility in the room, which allows us to improve the quality of the sanding without a cloud of dust hindering our sander’s work.
With this system we also prevent sanding particles from being released into the environment, resulting in a more eco-friendly production process.
